The National Route N814A was a 10-kilometer long branch of N814, connecting Bénouville and Caen. Michelin only started installing these directional signs (in arrow shape) in 1947. This particular sign has been located on Avenue Georges Clemenceau in Caen since May 29, 1952. An accurate replica made of three tiles is available with or without a “concrete” border. The sign comes with a Vinsign certificate, a unique production number, and a luxury postcard featuring a photo and description of the original.
The National Route N814A was a 10-kilometer long side road of the N814, connecting Bénouville to Caen. It was not until 1947 that Michelin erected these poteaux (arrow-shaped signposts) along the route.
This poteau has been standing on Avenue Georges Clemenceau in Caen since May 29, 1952. A faithful reproduction of the original, it is made up of three tiles and is available with or without a “concrete” border.
This panneau comes with a Vinsign certificate, a unique production number, and a luxurious postcard with a photo and a description of the original.
