On the old Route Departementale D514 (formerly GC32), between Vierville s/ Mer and La Pointe du Hoc, the GC 125 turnoff leads to Longueville (currently D125). At the turnoff, one can still find the characteristic octagonal Michelin Plaque on an old wall. Although undated, the sign has been there since at least the 1930s! Vinsign took up the challenge of creating an exact reproduction of this Plaque Michelin, resulting in a high-quality replica made of solid beechwood with a concrete border. As with all Vinsigns, the font is authentic and hand-painted. The Plaque features a special finish and comes with a certificate and a unique production number.
