The Route Nationale 7, also known as the Route Bleue, is a 995 km long road built in 1824 that connects Paris to Menton on the Italian border, passing through Lyon and Nice. It is considered the queen of French main routes and is known as the Route des vacances or Route Soleil, leading to the glamorous Côte d’Azur. Charles Trenet famously sang about it in 1956. The Plaque Michelin -Paris Nevers- is a handmade reproduction of the original plaque in Magny-Course, Nièvre, known to Route Bleue enthusiasts, and comes with a Vinsign certificate and luxurious postcard.
