With our experience and technical capabilities, paired with our passion, the answer was clear! We handcrafted a Metro lightbox almost identical to the original using solid beech wood and an aluminum-lasered text. The profile on the front is hand-carved and identical to the original. The Parisian Metro light posts were designed by French architect Dervaux and date back to the early 1920s, installed until World War II. Our exact reproduction is coated to give it a cast iron look in Paris green color. It is a decorative masterpiece, and its size can be customized.”
Our client from Atlanta, USA, had a question for us: “Can you replicate an original Parisian Metro lightbox from the 1920s?” With our experience, technical capabilities, and passion, the answer was clear.
We created a Metro lightbox that is almost identical to the original. It is handcrafted from solid beechwood and features an aluminum laser-cut text. The profile on the front is hand-milled and identical to the original.
The Parisian Metro light poles were designed by French architect Dervaux and originally date back to the early 1920s, and they were installed until the second world war.
Our precise reproduction is coated with a special coating that gives the whole piece its cast-iron look in the color Paris green. It is a decorative masterpiece, and the size can be individually adjusted to fit your needs.
