LONGUES SUR MER G.C. 104 V

Price: € 350,00

The famous German naval gun battery at Longues sur Mer was built in early 1944. On D-Day, the battery engaged in a fierce duel with some Allied ships, but the Allies managed to silence it completely with a number of direct hits. On June 7, 1944, British troops took over the battery and captured all 180 Germans. This French-style panel is not a reproduction, but is made entirely in the correct style. In 1944, the G.c.104 was the road from Longues sur Mer to the 60-meter high cliffs of the invasion coast. It is fully hand-painted in authentic colors and the old French font.
