SAINTE MERE EGLISE

Price: € 240,00

The well-known sign placed by the German occupier is seen with an incorrectly placed accent aigu above the “e”. This error, along with the distinctive font, has been intentionally included in the highly detailed reproduction. The original, photographed on June 8, 1944, on the road to Cherbourg, shows Private Elmer Habbs from Delaware of the 82nd U.S. Airborne Division. The original cannot be traced. This sign comes with a Vinsign certificate, a unique production number, and a luxury postcard with a photo and description of the original.
