About This Project

André Michelin started with the production and placing of road signs in 1908. In the beginning, it was mainly warning signs with the text “Watch our children”. This is to warn the upcoming motorized traffic for children playing and going to school. (people were not used to car traffic)

Our plaque Michelin is an exact reproduction of the 1935 model! The colors and proportions are identical to the now very rare original. Made entirely from authentic materials by hand. A beautiful wall decoration with history!
